Job Summary
We are seeking a Process Engineer with a BS Degree in mechanical or chemical engineering and at least 2 years of experience in operations or engineering. Responsibilities include optimizing manufacturing processes using Six Sigma methodologies, supporting new product development, and managing improvement projects. Strong analytical, project management, and collaborative skills required. Salary range is $82,175 - $100,300.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in operations, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process controls, SPC, DOE, FMEA, and MSE.
- Ability to develop, implement, monitor, measure, and control functional improvement plans.
- Problem solving, decision analysis, situation appraisal skills and strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
- Lead in a positive and collaborative manner and ability to influence others.
- Approachable, effective in giving/receiving feedback.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong PC skills – MS Office, Lotus Notes, MINITAB, AutoCAD, QSI and QIS experience a plus.
- Previous ISO 9001-2000 experience with implementation, improvement, and sustainment.
- Flexibility on work hours (on call after hours/weekend as needed)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Six Sigma exposure/experience. Green Belt / Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Experience in a 24/7 environment is preferred.
- Experience with Controls, instrumentation, PLC knowledge also a plus.
- Previous experience with PSA / web based processes.
