Job Summary
Process Engineer to support product development initiatives and transition into manufacturing processes through NPD workflows, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM), validation protocols, and workflow improvements. Develop and execute test protocols for software/firmware changes affecting Faro products in Production and Service Centers; perform failure investigations on nonconforming materials and analyze quality reports to implement preventive and corrective actions. Conduct gauge R&R and process capability studies, develop preventive maintenance plans for manufacturing equipment, and coordinate product changes while ensuring procedures and diagnostics are released timely. Act as a liaison among R&D, Production, Service, and Quality; champion Lean/Six-Sigma-driven continuous improvement and cost reductions. Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; recent graduates welcome to apply. On-site in Exton, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; Degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, or AS degrees in a related technical area with relevant experience considered
