Job Summary
Process Engineer at Altek Electronics, a Cyient DLM company, responsible for evaluating and configuring manufacturing processes to reduce cost, improve safety, throughput, and yields; provides hands-on technical leadership, trains employees in tooling and assembly documentation, and leads/participates in continuous improvement projects within AS9100D and IPC quality framework.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education (technical certification, associate degree, bachelor’s degree) with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with AS9100/ISO9001:2015 quality system and IPC-A-610, 620, J-STD-001 quality requirements
- Experience developing tooling/fixtures; CAD software proficiency
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Lean and/or Six Sigma background (Black Belt preferred)
- Experience in electronics manufacturing environment
- Ability to lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects
- Proven track record in process improvement and cost reduction
