Process Engineer 4'KAT

Process Engineer/KAT at Lam Research in the Global Products Group focusing on semiconductor deposition/etch processes. Develop and evaluate new process formulations, define equipment hardware to meet processing requirements, analyze test data, and coordinate design requirements for compatibility of processing methods. Lead process development to reduce costs and increase yields toward High Volume Manufacturing; compile and analyze test data to guide next steps; collaborate cross-functionally with customers to understand roadmaps and business challenges; contribute to next-generation product development and release activities; provide leadership to process technicians. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 6+ years of experience or a PhD with 3+ years, plus travel to customer sites; preferred qualifications include fluency in Mandarin, experience with SPC/DOE, and knowledge of CVD/PECVD, ECD, TSV, WLP, and related semiconductor processes. Lam supports hybrid work models (On-site Flex and Virtual Flex) combining on-site and remote work. Salary range for the role in the SF Bay Area is $104,000 - $231,000.
