Job Summary
Develop injection molding processes using proven scientific methodologies and validate mold and work cells through IQ, OQ, and PQ validation. Document molding processes, mold setups, work cell layouts, and troubleshooting information for each validated job while establishing robust, repeatable process parameters. Support current production needs by troubleshooting issues, overseeing new equipment production, and managing engineering change orders. Participate in project meetings to ensure timely completion and implement statistical process analysis for cycle time and process improvements. Maintain ISO and safety standards, plan line layouts for volume changes, and collaborate with interdepartmental managers on material changes.
Required Qualifications
- Trade school graduate or associates degree
- Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering
- 5+ years experience in an injection molding operation
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing/molding operation
- Proven success in maintaining positive employee relations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of equipment
- Advanced ability to read prints
- Advanced math skills
- Demonstrates experience in performance development, teaching/leading, mentoring and/or organization development
- Instills appropriate behavior in others in support of EPTAM values
- Monday through Friday
- 1st Shift 8:00am to 4:30pm
