Job Summary
Conceive, design, and advance scientific experiments to generate robust data for project goals. Independently monitor studies, prepare novel protocols, and interpret experimental strategies to assess project impact. Lead department-wide support efforts including safety, recruiting, and committees while initiating external collaborations. Develop realistic timelines, plan detailed procedures, and make proactive decisions to achieve milestones. Exercise considerable latitude in determining scientific objectives and mentoring team activities.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate PhD OR PharmD or MD
- Master + 3 years of Scientific experience
- Bachelors + 5 years of Scientific experience
- Science background as Engineering or microbiology
- Full on site job in Juncos, PR
- Full time job
- Administrative Shift (able to work different shifts and on weekends during characterization or validation)

- Validation experience in highly regulated industry
- Ability to motivate, lead and/or supervise the activities of others
- Ability to develop realistic timelines
- Be able to problem solve using the application of scientific theory
- Demonstrate skills in independently determining and developing scientific analysis and solutions
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives of scientific work
- Demonstrate strong laboratory and project management skills
- Creative skills in the development of new hypotheses for scientific experiments
- Critical evaluation and detailed interpretation of results
- Demonstrate knowledge of scientific relevance of targeted work
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
