Process Development Engineer

Job Summary
Coordinate with project teams to manage the development of new processes and production lines, ensuring timely handovers to series production. Design process improvements, create 3D models, and manage the installation of new stations and fixtures for existing assembly lines. Establish relationships with European counterparts to standardize processes and design specifications for machine builders. Perform process audits in accordance with VDA, IATF, and ISO standards while assisting with equipment commissioning and troubleshooting. Analyze process data, calculate machine uptimes, and develop testing methods to assure product quality. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4-8 years of experience in industrial automation. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and willing to travel within Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from accredited institution
- Four (4) to Eight (8) years of experience in the field of industrial, process and automation engineering
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Ability to hold a passport and travel within Germany without accompaniment
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Intern and/or co-op experience
- Working knowledge of electrical, controls, and programming
- Some knowledge of the German language and customs
- Strong CAD and 3D modeling skill
- Creo experience
- Microsoft Office, Minitab, or other production software experience
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and handle multiple projects and assignments with proficiency
