Job Summary
Process Development Engineer I to advance from proof-of-concept prototypes to sustained manufacturing validation, coordinating engineering activities, studies, and programs for standard production and new product development. Responsibilities include process development and implementation in diverse engineering fields, evaluating equipment and tooling, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions, conducting in-process and product release testing, collaborating with operators and technicians, training manufacturing staff, potentially supervising engineers and technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role requires applying project-management principles, statistical knowledge, and strong technical reporting, with proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and communicating findings to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline (Required)
- 6 months - 1 year of experience in related field (Required)
- B2+ English communication skills, written and oral (Required)
- Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Materials Engineering or related field (Preferred)
- Experience in the medical device industry and Six Sigma certifications (Preferred)
