Job Summary
Conduct feasibility, concept, and detailed design work for process assignments, including red-to-black markups of P&IDs, annotating piping plans, and routing process and utility piping. Develop equipment general arrangement plans, integrate vendor models into Revit, and make design changes based on review comments. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction staff to ensure coordinated, constructible designs while adhering to building codes, industry guidance, and CRB's quality program. Requires 3 to 7 years of experience in design or construction, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microstation, and ability to interface with clients and travel for site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Applicable Associate degree or technical trade school certification
- 3 to 7 years of experience required including field experience in either a design or construction capacity
Desired Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD 3D, Microstation, Inventor or Solidworks is preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
- Experience with modeling of Process and Process Utility hygienic piping system design preferred
- Ability to interface with client and external partners preferred
- Ability to travel as required for construction or client site visits preferred
