Process Design Consultant I - Enterprise Credit

Job Summary
Implement low to moderately complex solutions to address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, quality, and sustainability. Work directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities. Establish a model for continuous process improvement by applying process engineering best practices and delivering reusable technology solutions. Leverage analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits. Support the development of enterprise change management deliverables including project charters, SIPOC, RACI process maps, risk assessments, and control plans. Lead working teams through strategic planning by utilizing a simplification mindset to accurately depict the current Single Process Inventory inventory and assess gaps against policy standards. Integrate business best practices and leverage technology to develop and deploy automated/revised solutions while building action plans to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in process improvement/design and project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Understanding of BOA's Process Management Policy and Standard, Risk Management Framework and Business Controls
- High proficiency in MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Excel and pivot tables
- Exceptional data analytics skills and attention to detail with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable reports for executive audience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, organized, versatile, capable of performing work independently with minimal direction
- Highly organized and able to effectively managing competing priorities and compressed timelines
- Strong partnership skills – build broad-based business relationships across the organization using influencing skills while demonstrating strong conflict resolution capabilities
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Commercial lending environment, organizational alignment, strategic priorities
- Ability to navigate enterprise, research, and resource information across the Bank of America
- Experience in Enterprise Control functions and related compliance efforts
- Ability to work independently – set and manage plans, achieve results
- Demonstrated ability to drive action and sustain momentum/results oriented
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in making sound decisions while facilitating process working sessions
- Strong ability to influence and lead diverse groups to achieve desired results
