Job Summary
Process Coordinator Maintenance responsible for technical expertise across Air, Gas and Water systems, plant instrumentation and control, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of AGW utility systems. Duties include scheduling and recording safety contacts and training, maintaining housekeeping standards, prioritizing and scheduling work with operating departments, supervising hourly workers, coordinating with AGW (MTE) bargaining unit, identifying maintenance repairs, writing standard procedure documents, enforcing lockout procedures, maintaining shop equipment, managing quality/cost/safety metrics, and supporting safety and environmental audits with monthly performance reporting. Proficiency in instrumentation and control schemes (PLC), familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and network protocols, and strong MS Office skills are required; experience with unionized workforces and industrial automation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in engineering
- 3 years’ experience within a heavy industrial production related field
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control schemes, including PLC’s
- Working knowledge of electronic systems including camera systems, radios and radio frequencies, and scales
- Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, with ability to learn role specific software
