Process & Controls Improvement Officer

Job Summary
Conduct monthly and half-yearly risk assessments across business locations to identify fraud exposure and close control gaps. Create, maintain, and review business policies and procedures annually with Executive Team and process owners. Support internal and inter-company auditors in coordinating activities and closing audit issues on time. Perform weekly reviews of new and existing customers to ensure AML compliance and monitor cash transactions for policy breaches. Investigate real or alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct and fraudulent activities objectively. Deliver bi-monthly training sessions to all employees on policies and procedures. Own a reliable motor vehicle and be available for travel to distribution centers and head office.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Social Sciences or related field
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in Business Process Analysis, Audit or Loss Prevention
- Advanced level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Vision
- Must own a reliable motor vehicle
- Must be able to travel out of town on short notice
- Strong Knowledge of Business Processes and the Control Environment
- Wearing of appropriate PPE gear required
Desired Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Work Place Investigation experience is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A self-driven professional with a can-do attitude and exceptional communication skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
