Job Summary
Conduct process inspections on all production lines, marking and tagging defects, checking bag weights, and collecting data from Production. Perform process checks, calibrate measuring equipment, and verify standardized sanitation procedures. Notify Production of potential defects or issues while maintaining familiarity with Simmons operating systems and quality standards. Participate in team meetings, foster cohesiveness, and resolve issues to achieve synergy. Requires standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing PPE including waterproof gloves and slip-resistant footwear. Industry experience of 6 months to one year preferred. Required Qualifications
- Industry Experience: 6 months to one yr. of prior production experience.
- Minimum Education: Be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Minimum Education: Perform basic math calculations.
- Competencies: Communication skills & decision quality - Must have the ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively with others and leadership team.
- Physical Activities: Standing on feet entire shift.
- Physical Activities: lifting up to 50 lbs. of product anywhere from floor to waist level
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Std waterproof gloves, sleeves, hearing protection, slip resistant footwear
- Travel: [Location constraint: Fairland, OK to Southwest City, MO]

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
