Job Summary
Conduct quality system audits for manufacturing, inspection, and process records to evaluate compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, customer requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Coordinate internal audits with Department Heads, verify employee awareness of quality policies, and perform supplier audits to identify compliance gaps. Report process noncompliances to management, review procedures for adequacy, support external audits, and evaluate training effectiveness. This role requires bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish, technical document reading skills, and the ability to travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be fluent in the English language in both written and oral form
- bi-lingual in Spanish language
- Must have experience and be capable to read technical documents; drawings, specifications, manuals
- Must be computer literate, to include MS Office
- Must have strong communication and decision making skills
- Ability to self-manage and set priorities with demonstrated follow-through skills
- Ability to travel as required
- High School level education or equivalent
- minimum 5 years of experience working within the manufacturing industry and/or quality control
- Experience in quality management system auditing
- Must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Temporary Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with for an ISO 9001/AS9100 certified company preferred
