Job Summary

Perform coating operations on aerospace components, including painting pins and collars, cetyl alcohol lubrication, and automatic paint applications. Read blueprints and work instructions to ensure compliance with specifications while operating spray equipment, bake ovens, and lube tanks. Troubleshoot equipment issues, operate pumps for chemical removal, and handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations. Monitor product quality, maintain equipment performance, and report malfunctions or nonconformances immediately. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies, including HSE training and waste elimination initiatives. Work A-shift Monday through Thursday from 4:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Required Qualifications

  • High School or Equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working experience of processing manufacturing procedures
  • A minimum of 0 - 2 years industrial experience and/or training in related area
  • No facial hair or NIOSH Approved Beard
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal
  • Ability to perform basic shop math
  • Basic knowledge of Word Processing
  • Basic knowledge of Spreadsheet software
  • Basic knowledge of other applications
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

  • Ability to participate, upon request, in analyses (of risks, incidents) and HSE working groups related to his/her professional scope
  • Ability to be familiar with the main health and safety risks and the main environmental impacts relating to the scope of his/her work
  • Ability to be familiar with the site's HSE policy and objectives
  • Ability to make proposals for improving working conditions and limiting environmental impact

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job routers to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Ability to operate all coating equipment, including spray equipment, bake ovens, and lube tanks
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and report repair needs to the Lead or Supervisor
  • Ability to operate electric or manual pumps for chemical or paint removal as needed
  • Ability to handle all chemicals safely in accordance with company and governmental regulations
  • Ability to ensure product quality meets all company and industry standards
  • Ability to complete assigned workload efficiently and on schedule
  • Ability to monitor and maintain equipment performance, report malfunctions promptly
  • Ability to follow all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and practices
  • Ability to attend all required HSE training and report any nonconformance immediately
