Job Summary
The Electrical & Controls Technician coordinates and executes maintenance automation and controls functions in the plant to ensure equipment and services operate with minimal interruption. Responsible for maintaining electrical control software, programming HMIs/PLCs/servos, diagnosing and repairing electrical and controls problems, and supporting downtime reduction. Leads and trains others on electrical controls maintenance, follows NEC/OC standards, and contributes to safety, quality, and productivity improvements at the Denver Roofing plant. Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, with capabilities in Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, reliability-centered maintenance, and managing maintenance projects. The role requires industrial electrical maintenance expertise, familiarity with Allen Bradley/Ignition ecosystems, and the ability to work on an hourly, non-exempt basis within a mid/shifts schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year associate degree in electrical technologies or equivalent preferred
- 3 years relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred
