Job Summary
Operate and inspect cement production lines, providing critical feedback from the field to the central control room and production supervisor. Responsibilities include maintaining raw material levels, ensuring proper guarding and flow in storage areas, inspecting mills and preheater/finish towers for leaks and normal operating conditions, removing blockages using compressed air and high-pressure water, and supporting overall process flow and housekeeping. Requires the ability to operate equipment (front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, bobcats) and a High School diploma or equivalent. Focus on safety, quality, and efficient material handling within a cement manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to drive and operate various equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts and bobcats.
- Knowledge of all types of equipment used in the manufacturing of cement.
