Job Summary
As a Process Architect at Veeva Systems, you will lead the transition from document-centric processes to a data-centric ecosystem, helping life sciences companies digitalize their validation processes. Key responsibilities include extracting requirements from legacy documents, managing bulk data loads, advising customers on best practices, and developing specialized tooling for data migration across Vault environments. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in life sciences validation, a strong understanding of CSV/A and CQV lifecycles, and the ability to lead consulting sessions. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field is required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in life sciences validation with a deep technical understanding of CSV/A and CQV lifecycles for facilities, utilities, and manufacturing equipment
- Proven experience in a customer-facing consulting or billable professional services role with the ability to lead technical workshops and advise executive stakeholders
- Experience mapping complex customer business processes into standardized data languages to move organizations to paperless validation models
- Strong working knowledge of risk-based qualification approaches and industry standards such as ASTM E2500, ISPE Baseline Guides, and Annex 15
- Proficiency in bulk data loading tools and managing data integrity within cloud-based platforms
- Strong analytical skills for identifying configuration gaps between legacy customer data and system templates
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Bioengineering, Electrical, or related technical field)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for key customer engagements and internal meetings up to 30% with typical travel around 15%
Desired Qualifications
- Active participation or leadership within ISPE, EMA, or other industry technical committees or networks
- Direct experience leading large-scale, enterprise digital validation implementations and rollouts
- Previous experience in organizational change management within a manufacturing or quality environment
- Familiarity with data transfer methodologies or specialized migration tooling
