Job Summary
Process Applications Engineer I-II responsible for designing, modifying, and evaluating products from definition through production and release. Develop test plans, generate and evaluate process data to meet specifications, review processing techniques with design staff, and stay aligned with industry trends. Interact with consumable suppliers to understand products and help EBARA meet targets. Train local engineers and customers on new CMP system features and provide on-site support for process evaluation, equipment setup, or troubleshooting. Maintain safety and clean working environments per company policies. Requires collaboration with internal teams and customers, and the ability to work in a cross-cultural, dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience
- 2 to 4+ years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Strong Customer Relations skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of CAD drawings and designs behind products
- Thorough understanding of CMP polishing equipment, process consumables, and metrology equipment
- Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and operate related machinery safely
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
