Job Summary
Define performance standards, review outcomes, and set future targets for technicians and specialists. Assign duties, oversee training needs, and troubleshoot processes, equipment, and systems while documenting failures. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities, perform equipment evaluations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Create and maintain department work instructions while adhering to safety, quality, and World Class Manufacturing principles. Model and apply the Understand. Create. Simplify. philosophy in daily decision-making. Requires a two-year associate's degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience, two years of leadership experience, and five years of manufacturing-related technical experience. Includes 8-12 weeks of travel during the first 4-6 months for training.
Required Qualifications

- in-depth understanding of manufacturing equipment programming, maintenance, and repair
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- ability to follow detailed technical instructions
- expertise in Excel, Word, Access, and maintenance software

- ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results are satisfactory to SEL
- You can obtain negative drug test result(s)
- Must be willing and able to travel during the first 4-6 months of employment for training, totaling approximately 8-12 weeks in two-week increments
