Process and Equipment Engineer (Contract)

Owns critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes, drives modifications to improve production efficiencies and output, transfers technology to global sites, and leads maintenance and repair activities. Drives continuous improvement of equipment and process for KPIs (safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, yield); develops and optimizes excursion prevention and detection of discrepant material; participates in technology transfer through training and audit of installation and qualification outcomes to ensure matched processing across sites; manages equipment installation/conversion and qualification during factory ramps to meet safety and quality milestones and manufacturing readiness requirements. Qualifications include a Bachelor degree in EE/Mechanical/Megatronics/Chemical/Physics/Material or Science; 2 years of semiconductor assembly experience is advantageous and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The role is on-site in Penang, Malaysia.
