Process Analyst

Job Summary
Process Analyst focused on identifying where the business loses time, money, or quality due to broken or missing processes, and building implementable solutions. You will map current and future-state processes, identify root causes, lead tool integration, create SOPs and training materials to ensure new processes stick, and track adoption against baseline metrics. This role sits in the Chief of Staff Office and partners with the PM and functional leaders in a hybrid Richmond, VA environment. Essential duties include process discovery and mapping, implementation and change management, cross-functional support, and building process improvement roadmaps. Strong analytical skills, data-driven problem solving, and excellent written communication are required, with Lean Six Sigma familiarity or certification considered a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, management consulting, or similar
- Strong analytical skills — you work with data, not just intuition
- Experience with process mapping and project management tools
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent written communication — you can translate analysis into a clear narrative
- Proven ability to work across functions and influence without direct authority
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus
