Job Summary
Schedule patient appointments for gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies, while coordinating with patients, physicians, and medical staff to ensure accurate preparation. Communicate procedural instructions and dietary guidelines to patients, maintain accurate records in electronic medical records systems, and address inquiries or scheduling changes as needed. Collaborate with administrative staff to optimize office efficiency, follow up on confirmations, and assist with assigned tasks. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in medical scheduling
- Prior experience in a gastroenterology or healthcare setting
