Job Summary
Regulate and maintain patient appointment schedules for Structural Heart, Electrophysiology, and General Cardiology. Manage daily workflows by organizing and prioritizing tasks to complete assignments within allotted time while handling multiple procedures and interruptions. Communicate with physicians, employees, patients, and families using verbal and written skills, maintaining composure during challenging interactions. Apply moderate mental concentration to coordinate schedules across Sutter Med Foundation locations in Sacramento, Elk Grove, and Folsom, with travel required as needed.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 2 years of recent experience
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Intermediate computer skills to include keyboarding, mouse movement, data entry and scheduling programs
- Verbal/written communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians, employees, patients and patient families
- Patience and compassion
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks in order to complete assignments within the time allotted and maintain standard workflow
- Ability to work with others in a flexible and cooperative manner
- Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions
- Active listening skills
- Interpersonal skills and telephone communication
- Moderate mental application and concentration to handle multiple procedures and interruptions throughout the day
