Job Summary
Procedural Service Technician responsible for on-site preventive and corrective maintenance of STERIS Surgical product lines and related equipment in hospital settings. Duties include disassembly/replacement/repair of parts, troubleshooting, calibration, and certification of equipment; performing customer training and in-servicing; coordinating installations or conversions; site visits for small projects; maintaining service logs and inventory; and using technology to complete administrative tasks (e.g., Siebel, service reports). Travel daily with a company vehicle, maintain compliance with OR and Sterile Field protocols, and engage with Customers to exceed service expectations while identifying opportunities for product enhancements and ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- minimum 4 years of work experience including 2 years mechanical/technical experience
- Customer and team engagement experience
- Basic computer skills (MS Windows, email, mobile app)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- ability to work flexible hours including overnight travel
- Associates degree or related certifications may be considered towards technical experience
