Job Summary
The Procedural Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring patient vital signs, and documenting assessments and procedural events. The role requires adherence to infection prevention protocols and collaboration with healthcare team members. Previous surgical circulator experience is preferred, along with current Illinois licensure and certification in BLS/CPR, PALS, and ACLS within six months of hire.
