Job Summary
Provide technical support services to professional nursing staff in the Labor and Delivery procedural setting under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Maintain professional accountability for patient care within the scope of licensure while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Obtain and maintain a current LPN license and complete Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse (LPN) program
- Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed
- must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
