Job Summary
Coordinate operating suite setup, maintain sterile fields, and transport patients to surgery while assisting with procedures under provider supervision. Provide professional patient care, educate individuals on procedures and follow-up, and serve as a liaison to physicians and vendors to address specialty area needs. Oversee maintenance of instrument sets, implants, and equipment; train staff and residents on new supplies and procedures; and implement organizational policies for designated specialties. Assess patient data, develop care plans, and communicate timely changes to providers to ensure safe transitions and continuity. Maintain a clean environment by clearing instruments and managing nursing supplies inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
- 2 years Operating Room
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
