Job Summary
Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying item attributions and acting as the first responder to defects, external damage, and exceptions during freight flow. Respond to real-time calls and alerts for operational teams, then determine root causes, research issues, correct defects, and document findings. Collaborate with Operations Managers, Inventory Control, and Quality Assurance teams to solve process problems while managing multiple priorities. Perform basic data entry, analyze Excel, and navigate ICQA reporting tools with minimal direction. Work independently in a warehouse environment lifting 35-50 lbs frequently, operating with minimal supervision after training.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience as a warehouse worker, operations technician, or similar warehouse operator
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs.
- Occasionally Ability to be trained on powered equipment as needed
- Ability to read, utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing and competing priorities
- Ability to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training
- Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers of those defects
- Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis in excel
- Ability to navigate web based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Smartsheet) with minimal direction after training
