Job Summary
Problem Manager role focused on strengthening reliability, resilience and performance of Babcock’s digital services across defence, aerospace and engineering programmes. Responsibilities include analysing incident trends and service data to identify problems, liaising with service desks and infrastructure teams to support ITIL/ISO20000 processes, investigating root causes, owning the problem management lifecycle from identification to resolution, and driving continuous improvement through evaluated solutions and post-implementation reviews. Requires degree in IT or related field (or equivalent), ITIL v4 certification, and UK Security Check clearance. Hybrid working pattern with three days onsite in Stoke Gifford, Bristol.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in IT, project/programme management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- ITIL v4 certified (ideally Practitioner level for Problem Management)
- Security Clearance
- sole UK National able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance
