Job Summary
Probation Aide (Part Time) focused on supervising juveniles performing community service, transporting them to worksites, assigning duties, disciplinary oversight, accurate record keeping of hours, and data entry. Requires knowledge of juvenile justice principles, ability to lead groups of delinquent youth, work with the general public, and participate in required trainings (including self-defense recertification). Pre-hiring requirements include urinalysis, fitness for duty, psychological examination, and various background checks (PennDOT, child abuse, PA criminal, FBI fingerprint).
