Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of up to 8 Probate Legal Advisors, driving delivery of targets and KPIs through motivation, coaching, and quarterly performance reviews. Provide technical supervision to ensure all advice meets SRA regulations and internal compliance standards while handling a personal caseload of approximately 10 files. Monitor work-in-progress, billing, and banking performance through weekly matter management meetings to optimize file progression and resolve client complaints efficiently. Collaborate with other managers to support recruitment and maintain exceptional service standards across the department. Work Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm for 37.5 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (admitted with a current practising certificate)
- Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx)
- Comprehensive legal expertise in the area of Wills and Probate
- Ability to supervise and technically support a team
- Proven ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and hold individuals accountable for delivery
- Belief and alignment with the firm's mission and core values

- Determination and drive to achieve all business deadlines and targets
