Job Summary
Probate and Trust Paralegal supporting attorneys in probate and trust administrations and related litigation, including drafting petitions and probate code compliant accounts, preparing notices and deeds, handling discovery and depositions, and maintaining client/beneficiary communications in a hybrid/virtual San Diego-based role. Responsibilities include filing court documents, managing deadlines, drafting judicial council forms, coordinating with experts, organizing exhibits for trial, and providing litigation support. Requires independence, strong communication, and proficiency with Clio and Google Workspace to maintain complex matters in a remote/hybrid environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 Years of Trust & Probate Litigation Paralegal Experience
- Significant hands-on experience in trust administration, probate, and litigated probate matters within a law firm setting
- Strong organizational and case management skills with ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Proven experience with mediation and mandatory settlement conferences, and trial preparation
- Technical proficiency with Google Workspace and Clio
