Job Summary
Probate and Trust Administration Paralegal supports section attorneys in high-volume probate proceedings by preparing and filing probate documents (petitions, motions, testamentary letters, inventories, accountings, notices), filing life insurance claims, contacting beneficiaries/next of kin, administering estate accounts, and assisting with liquidation and transfer of property. Requires expert-level organization, client service, research, project management, accounting, and document management skills. Certifications FRP and/or CLA preferred; familiarity with EstateWorks, HotDocs, BNA 706 tax forms, iManage, and MS Office Suite. Strong adaptability, creativity, collaboration, communication, emotional intelligence, listening, time management, and a solid work ethic are valued.
