Job Summary
Manage Product Sales Specialists and ensure exceptional customer service by greeting every customer, answering phones, and processing transactions at the POS. Direct associates on merchandising, pricing, and organization while validating product placement and creating display signs. Complete product specialist certification, forklift proficiency testing, and 'how-to' classes for customers. Communicate inventory needs to management and process refunds and exchanges per guidelines. Work Monday through Sunday in a warehouse environment, handling physical tasks involving lifting and standing. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of customer service/sales experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to drive
- Ability to teach the company philosophy around the basic P's of retail
- Ability to complete all product specialist certification courses
- Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of merchandise and installation
- Ability to communicate standard operating procedure direction and changes to all associates in a timely manner
- Ability to complete the Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing and certification
- Ability to greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner
- Ability to answer the telephone according to accepted guidelines
- Ability to stock and tag merchandise displays as required
- Ability to create price tags and merchandise signs
- Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Ability to work Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Ability to work Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Pickup)
- Ability to work Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Pickup)
- Ability to work Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Pickup)
- Ability to be frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles
- Ability to work in a manner that is consistent with company's core values
- Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices standard operating procedures
