Job Summary
Collaborate with the Pro Desk staff to build relationships with local painting contractors, meet their unique needs, and follow up on job requirements. Roll out the red carpet by collaborating with outside reps to get exactly the right products, mix paint, collect sundry tools, and ensure contractors get in and out of the store quickly. Pull and tint orders for pickup while maintaining professional relationships with Home Depot staff and vendors. Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce using basic computer skills. Work varying hours including weekends, holidays, and shifts extending until 7 p.m. during peak selling times.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to roll out the red carpet by collaborating with contractors
- Ability to mix paint
- Ability to collect sundry paint tools
- Ability to get customers in and out of the store quickly
- Ability to make professional customers feel like they had a paint store experience
- Ability to support the Home Depot Pro Desk
- Ability to introduce yourself to any contractors
- Ability to get to know contractors, their business, and their needs
- Ability to maintain this relationship
- Ability to follow up regarding their jobs and any future needs
- Ability to work closely with Behr's outside sales reps
- Ability to pull and tint orders for pick up
- Ability to work closely with the Home Depot staff
- Ability to be professional and helpful as a vendor
- Ability to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship
- Ability to enter all new leads and contacts into Salesforce
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work holidays
- Ability to work shifts that can extend until 7 p.m.
- Ability to work while consumers shop
- Ability to jump in and help wherever a need is seen
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience or knowledge in paint or sales
