Job Summary
Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care from admission through discharge for clients in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization facility. Complete session notes, contact logs, discharge plans, and other reports in compliance with state, accrediting, and payor guidelines while maintaining ongoing clinical assessments. Conduct verbal crisis intervention, set boundaries, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, referral partners, and family members to support client recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology
- Holds a provisional clinical license, in good standing, within the state of VA
- Minimum of 2 years' of experience working with clients with a primary mental health diagnosis
- Clearance of TB test
- Criminal background check clearance
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to complete within 30 days of start date
- PRN - Rotating Weekends schedule availability
