Job Summary
Safely transport passengers, including the elderly and individuals with developmental disabilities, to and from designated destinations. Assist with boarding and exiting the vehicle while ensuring the vehicle remains well-maintained, clean, and fueled. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintain accurate trip and passenger records, and handle Durable Medical Equipment. This role requires Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certification, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and CPR certification. Candidates must possess experience working with vulnerable populations, knowledge of patient care practices, and proficiency in critical care situations. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Texas Driver's License with a responsible driving record
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly
- Knowledge of patient care and caregiving practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures
- Understanding of critical care situations
- Proficiency in handling Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- CPR Certified
- Compassionate individual
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility
