Job Summary
Transportation Driver position for a PRN/CNA role serving elderly and individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include safely transporting passengers to/from designated locations, assisting with boarding/exiting, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and fuel, adhering to traffic laws, and maintaining accurate trip records. Requires Texas CNA certification, Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record, CPR, DME proficiency, and experience with elderly/developmental disabilities. Strong communication, compassion, and responsibility are essential to provide safe transportation services.
Required Qualifications
- Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Texas Driver's License with a responsible driving record
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly
- Knowledge of patient care and caregiving practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures
- Understanding of critical care situations
- Proficiency in handling Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- CPR Certification
