Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and provide clinical services for individuals and families with behavioral health disorders using psychotherapeutic techniques. Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop discharge plans, and lead individual, group, or family sessions tailored to each patient's treatment plan. Maintain documentation of therapy services, manage assigned caseloads, and participate in treatment team meetings to facilitate care. Provide initial treatment planning, coordinate additional services, and perform case management or after-care planning as needed. Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude while prioritizing patient safety and resolving complaints. Services may be delivered in inpatient or outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field
- One or more years' experience working with comparable patient population
- Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
- First aid
