Job Summary
PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. Evaluate, review, and screen residents’ medical charts, develop treatment plans, and direct rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills. Instruct residents, families, and caregivers, monitor speech, and provide strategies for practicing new skills and safe swallowing techniques. Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and collaborate with rehab team; opportunity to treat at multiple locations. PRN role with flexible schedule and in-house support within CommuniCare’s Hillcrest facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors and/or a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program
- valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License
