Job Summary
PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing therapy across a network of long-term care facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating charts, developing treatment plans, directing rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function; instructing residents, families, and caregivers on practice strategies, diet modifications, and safe swallowing; attending interdisciplinary meetings; and delivering care at multiple locations with in-house continuity. Requires state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and ongoing professional engagement; opportunity for flexibility and work-life balance in a supportive, growth-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelors and/or a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
- Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License
- PRN (as-needed) scheduling acceptable
- Experience with evaluating, planning, and directing rehabilitative treatment programs
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary meetings and educate residents, families, and caregivers
- Demonstrated ability to monitor, score, and interpret speech and language tests
