Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and re-assessment across various settings. Explain findings and treatment plans to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in modifying care plans based on evolving patient conditions and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Complete discharge planning and accurately document all patient care activities, including baseline goals, daily notes, and progress summaries. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and take initiative in directing continuing education and mentoring new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
