Job Summary
Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care, establishing timely treatment plans for specific needs. Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, families, fellow clinicians, and hospital team members including physicians, case management, and nurses. Build and maintain relationships throughout the 120-bed Advent Health Carrollwood facility, which serves as a registered Primary Stroke Center treating majority post-op orthopedic cases with some neuro mixed in. Work two weekend day shifts per month, one major holiday, and one minor holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- Basic Life Support certification
