PRN RRT - Respiratory Care

Job Summary
Conduct respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for neonatal through geriatric patients. Set up, monitor, and wean oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation while drawing, analyzing, and reporting Arterial Blood Gases and EKGs. Deliver intermittent therapy and assist with changing artificial airways as ordered by a physician, adhering to established policies and procedures. Review and document all clinical information, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Requires current state license, National Board certification, and proficiency with Windows-style applications. Flexible schedule includes 24/7 coverage, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability)
- Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard
