PRN Room Service Attendant

PRN Room Service Attendant for Banner Health. Provides patients with menu and patient meal service, receives and forwards patient requests to Dietetic Technicians and Dietitians, and assembles patient trays according to dietary orders. Delivers meals, supports modified diets, maintains sanitation standards, interacts with patients and families, and utilizes POS systems. Requires ability to follow routines, provide excellent customer service, and knowledge of nutrition services. Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical, drug screen, and background checks is required. Food handlers’ card required within 30 days of hire. Shifts are as-needed and part-time (examples: 6am-2:30pm, 11:30am-8p, 3pm-8pm). Preferred qualifications include High school diploma/GED or equivalent, understanding of nutrition services and modified diets, and bilingual skills in some assignments.
