Job Summary
Complete nursing history, initiate patient education, and implement care plans appropriate to diagnosis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate unit assignments and solve problems, resolving moderately complex issues without oversight. Assess patient and family learning needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes. Demonstrate competence in critical skills and supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, HUCs, techs, and sitters. Participate in unit-based committees and quality improvement initiatives while following all safety standards. Precept employees and students as directed, reviewing their clinical performance with the unit leader. Commit to working hours set by the Tier 2 agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority
- New graduate, within first (1st) year of orientation
- Must have and maintain Tennessee State RN license
