Job Summary
PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for in-home care in Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities include performing initial assessments (virtual or in-person), developing and updating Plans of Care, communicating with care managers, caregivers, and medical professionals, consulting with Clinical Director, providing training to clients, maintaining compliant clinical records, conducting client and caregiver evaluations at defined intervals, providing staff training and clinical oversight, and traveling to cases as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- RN State License – MD with Trach care experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- TB vaccination and Hep B vaccination
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program
- Clear criminal background and driving record
- Two professional references within the healthcare field
- Prior home care experience is strongly preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a willingness to teach and mentor caregivers
- Comfort with technology; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to drive and travel to cases as assigned
