Job Summary
Staff nurse on a 24-bed Med-Surg unit providing nursing care across the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Works within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in a quality nursing care delivery. Responsibilities include IV starts, bedside procedures, wound care, management of NGTs and chest tubes, administration of blood transfusions, and care for post-op, central line, and colostomy patients. May float to assist across the hospital and support teamwork and clinical growth.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred
- PRN position requires ~ No experience required; new graduates eligible

- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
