PRN RN Emergency Days

Triage patients presenting to the Emergency Department, prioritizing care based on critical nature and severity. Assess patient conditions through visual evaluation, medication reconciliation, and vital sign measurements including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as prescribed by the treating physician. Monitor patients for condition changes, communicate with the care team, and chart medical history and treatment updates in the electronic medical record. Discharge patients post-treatment, providing education on instructions, answering questions, and confirming transportation. Requires two years of critical care experience, Indiana RN license, and ACLS/PALS certifications within 90 days.
